Everyone says it's impossible to find a job with a degree in the Humanities, specifically English. I've been surprised by how many friends have found well-paying jobs with this degree. In fact, many of them majored in English because they enjoyed writing and reading. Their decisions had very little to do with securing a job. Isn't that how it's supposed to be? Maybe not. In this day and age, people tend to gravitate towards majors geared towards careers. Despite this, there are ways to market yourself by highlighting the skills you have.
